Finding Value in the Noise for Informed Purchasing Decisions and Practical Implementations
January 17-18, 2024
12 noon to 2 p.m. Eastern time each day
Join us for an engaging virtual course on AI, led by Dr. Jason Fiege and Dr. Anastasia (Stasi) Baran of nQube Data Science, and Artisanal Computing’s Delica Leboe-McGowan.
This course is designed to cater to all levels of AI knowledge, whether you’ve never even given ChatGPT a shot or you’re an experienced enthusiast wondering how it applies to the gaming industry.
Day 1: Introduction to AI in the Gaming Industry
Your journey into AI in gaming begins here. Uncover various types of AI and discover how they are practically applied within the gaming industry. Learn to differentiate AI applications that deliver real value from over-hyped applications that may be less useful to your business. The class features two practical demos showing participants how AI can be used to identify VIP players based on their gaming history and using LLMs like ChatGPT to efficiently generate marketing content.
Day 2: Large Language Models (LLMs) in the Gaming Industry
Day 2 focuses on using Large Language Models (such as ChatGPT). Attendees will gain a basic understanding of how LLMs work, reasons for their popularity, and practical uses of this technology within the gaming industry.
This day is focused on practical demonstrations. Without requiring any knowledge of coding, participants will learn how to use an LLM like ChatGPT to easily create working Python programs that predict casino financial performance, segment players for marketing campaigns, and forecast casino traffic to optimize staffing.
This course offers an ideal platform for both technical and non-technical participants to enhance their understanding of AI and make informed decisions.
